Once upon a time, I made a bet to a man that I could take any vegetable that he would not eat and make it into a delectable meal. He abhorred beets. Wouldn't even look at them. But if he truly enjoyed what I cooked (not just placated me or still couldn't stand to eat it), he had to take me on a date. The way to a man's heart is through his stomach, right? Well, a marriage, a house, and 2 kids later....guess who won the bet? Lesson learned: cover anything in chocolate and it can be delicious.
