it is really nice, but then some of the coffee from my cup spilled over onto it , the stone absorbed it; and it became instantly and permanently stained. Had i known, i might have considered coating it with something before using it, but at this point - i'd need to buy another and give this a try. I bought this marble one and a glass one as a trial - to decide which to have made for my foundation's trustees. like the marble better, but can't give something that stains easily - so i will stick with my having one of each

it was not as boldly printed as i had hoped, but probably the right fade for the medium. I am guessing the ink gets deeply absorbed, as did my coffee. but, was not unhappy with the print.

This is a nice trivet, but the marble one is prettier. I ordered one of each because I wasn't sure which I would like better. This one is very nice. The sides look a little unfinished. It seems very durable and has been working fine as a trivet.

I’m giving this 4 stars here, because I needed to have it redone. The first stone base used for the coaster was not in good shape- it had damage in 3 places- one area was right in the front just under the photo used. The second one came in great shape, and the recipient felt it was a special gift.
