A little about myself, Connie Owens, artist: Horses are a huge part of my life, an incredible privilege God has provided for me since I was a very young girl. I grew up as a country girl but could not afford a horse until I was a teenager and could earn my own money and took on the work and responsibility all on my own. But I could have as many horses as I wanted when I drew and painted them from my imagination. So here I am a few decades from that young horse crazy poor country girl and still drawing and painting horses. I plan, God willing, to continue on this life's journey as a horse crazy country girl doing my best to create beautiful horse art for horse loving folks.
