Welcome to Janie Bean Books! Hi, I'm Mia! Janie Bean Books began with my love of creating stories and special memories for my grandchildren, especially my granddaughter, Jane. As I wrote and illustrated books for her, I discovered just how much joy there is in celebrating childhood through imagination. When it came time to plan Jane's third birthday, I wanted a party that felt as special and unique as she is. Jane absolutely loves to "splash-splash," so I began designing a collection inspired by sunny days, water play, and the simple magic of being little. What started as decorations for one birthday soon blossomed into this little shop. Today, Janie Bean Books is still small, but it's growing one collection, one celebration, and one happy memory at a time. Every new design begins with the same goal: to create thoughtful, storybook-inspired artwork that helps families celebrate the moments they'll remember for years to come. Many of my designs feature Hamhock, our lovable little plush pig, whose gentle charm has become a familiar friend throughout the Janie Bean Books world.
