He comes from a successful naval career that has taken him to some of the worlds most remote places and to some very historical moments. A very talented and versatile photographer whose work has appeared in major newspapers and magazines and has been profiled on PBS's Jim Lehrer NewsHour, C-SPAN’s American Journal and NFL Films ‘American Postcards’. He has worked on book projects for publishers Harper Collins and National Geographic and was President of the National Association of Naval Photography for 2006 and founded the DC Shoot Off workshop and the NANP Navy Visual News Service Impact Awards. He is a member of the White House News Photographers Association and their student mentorship program.
