Jopo de Gomina

<b>Jopo de Gomina</b> is a design and art collective that thrives to retrieve popular subculture. This craving surfaces with an angst to revalue past times and demand the most traditional face of the argentinian and latin american cultural belongings. Through art and design pieces and artworks are created to pay tribute to the "argentinian and latin american icons" (characters, places and objects from our past). All these works usually come from workshop activities that we like to call "Jopo d'Esquicios". The Jopo d'Esquicio is one of the main activities of this collective. They are different group meetingr where we get together periodically to experience using different resources and techniques like drawing, painting or collage and generate works that way.
