Dayliles bring smiles! And the best daylilies stop me in my garden tracks. I picked up my oil pastels this winter and decided to share my love for them. Summer blooms are always too far away and Iowa winters are long, cold and dark. Like most gardeners sun, flowers, vitamin D often seem so far away. To remind me that summer and daylilies are never too far away I drew, blended, and smeared by way through the winter. This store is here to share last summer's beauties and the summers to come. Besides daylilies, you will also find some of my favorite companion plants like phlox, cone flower, rudbeckia. I hope paintings and photos bring you smiles too.
