Pit Bulls Are Nerds

A year and a half ago I rescued my pit bull mix, Scully (who is this shops mascot). She is a ray of sunshine, a snuggle-monster, and by far the dorkiest dog I've ever owned. But, in addition to all her wonderful qualities, Scully has a number of health and behavior issues. Every day is a new challenge, but she has improved by leaps and bounds. Its hard to believe that today she is the same dog that I couldn't even walk down the street because she would be frozen in fear. Working with her has taught me so much about myself, and made me a more conscientious dog owner. I started this store to help me fund her ongoing treatment, both behavioral and medical. No dog is perfect. But something doesn't have to be perfect to be worthy of a second chance. My dog is a big huge nerd and I love her, and thats good enough for me.
