The floral blooms of plants are a timeless beauty of nature, taking on countless colours, sizes, and forms. Sunflowers in particular have a sunny reputation of their own, but when I saw two little bees perched on the centre of one in a pattern that resembled a smiley face, I knew I wanted to create an acrylic painting of the sight. The resulting artwork is featured on this ornament.
