Germany 1881 - 2019 Climate Stripes - Updated March 2020 This Climate Stripes version shows the annual average values from 1881 to 2019 from Germany. The annual mean values are represented by the temperature strips according to an idea of Ed Hawkins. The color range from 6.63°C in 1940 (dark blue) to 10.45°C in 2018 (dark red) The design continues to contain the white stripes between the colored stripes to draw the viewer's attention to the enormous impact of climate change on our habitat. Data source: German weather service DWD, Climate Data Center (CDC) and the Energy Charts of Frauenhofer Institute
This version of the climate stripe mask displays you the German median air between 1881 and 2019. The idea is according to the Hawkins. The colors are ranged from dark blue (1940, 6.63°C ) to dark red (2018, 10.45°C).
This design includes white stripes to enhance the contrast of global warming's impact.

Overall, it's a nice product but for what you pay the quality isn't very good. The way it's glued together, as you can see in the pictures, is messy, the glue is visible and shiny, there's some ink staining that looks like black fluff but isn't, it won't come off. On the paddle's black surface there are also little white marks here and there. It's not too easy to show in the pictures because of the flash but I tried to showcase the little white blemishes that ruin a smooth black surface. This was meant to be a gift and it just looks sloppily put together unfortunately. A few imperfections that mar what could have been really great. The printing was neat.

Quality of paddle is ok I think and the writing is legible. The colour was meant to be light blue stripe with name in middle (first image) and it's come dark blue so merges with the black background (first image) unfortunately.
