This set of coasters features a very famous woodblock print called Kanagawa Okinami-Ura (神奈川沖浪裏), known in English under the name The Great Wave off Kanagawa. It was created in the 1830s by Katsushika Hokusai as a part of his Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji series.
