The Ivy Substation Long Apron

The last major remaining structure built by the Los Angeles Pacific Railway Company, the Ivy Substation is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1907, The Ivy Substation is listed as the Los Angeles Historic Cultural Monument No.182 and was renovated in 1992 by the Culver City Redevelopment Agency. It is currently home to THE ACTORS' GANG THEATRE The Actors' Gang is an experimental theatre group based in Los Angeles. Founded in 1981 by a group of actors, including Tim Robbins, the group states its mission is "to create bold, original works for the stage and daring reinterpretations of the classics".
