The Sleeping Moon Poster

Humanity believed it had discovered a lifeless moon orbiting a dead world at the edge of known space. Its surface appeared silent and barren beneath endless stars, scarred only by ancient cracks and the ruins of structures no civilisation could identify. But after landing, the explorers began noticing impossible patterns beneath the landscape. Mountain ranges subtly shifted over time. Deep glowing fissures pulsed slowly beneath the surface like veins carrying ancient energy. Then came the horrifying realisation: the terrain itself was breathing. What humanity had mistaken for a moon was something far older and infinitely more terrifying — a colossal dormant entity suspended in the darkness of space, restrained beneath the ruins of a forgotten civilisation that once tried to imprison it. Combining cinematic sci fi realism, cosmic horror, existential mystery, and overwhelming scale, this artwork captures the chilling moment humanity realises it has stepped onto the body of a sleeping god drifting silently through the universe.
