The interference between the different information (what the words say and the colour of the words) your brain receives causes a problem. There are two theories that may explain the Stroop effect: 1. Speed of Processing Theory: the interference occurs because words are read faster than colours are named. 2. Selective Attention Theory: the interference occurs because naming colours requires more attention than reading words.

I really liked this product, the picture is lovely and the colours are really nice. I wanted it to up-cycle a writing bureau and I was concerned that the paper may be too thin. But it wasn't and it worked fine. On the pictures I have uploaded the print looks a bit aged and not so vivid and new looking. As I wanted an aged patina but the actual print is clearer and the colours are brighter. The colour and prints are good.

I originally was after the bee paper and then realised I could upload a photo. I used the paper to decorate a box, the paper is good and strong to work with. The left over paper I wrapped presents and put them in the box. She loved the box so well worth doing! I was really happy with the print!
