The Wild Boar

The wild boar is one of the most respected animals by Celtic warriors. With it’s imposing shape and size, the boar demands respect. Its strength and ferociousness in battle made it a well loved icon for warriors. Often featuring on shields and weapons, they hoped it would give them a fraction of energy from this animal. Boars were also associated with feasts and abundance. The Irish sea-god Manannán possessed magical boars, which could be eaten one day, and they’d re-appear the next, ready to be eaten again. They can therefor also be considered a symbol of rebirth. The Boar will help you face difficult challenges in your life, and battle them to ensure victory.

Looked great and was perfect for my Nana's 99th it arrived super quick so much quicker than sending the original from the other side of the world!
