About This Design
The Windows Album: a Parody Card
Step into an alternate-universe late-1960s music scene with “The Windows” and their introspective psychedelic album, “Waiting in the Sun.”
Inspired by the atmosphere of classic vintage rock LP sleeves, this artwork reimagines a legendary psychedelic band as thoughtful feline musicians standing outside their shadowed recording studio at sunset, emotionally drawn back toward the creative refuge inside.
Featuring stained-glass-inspired architectural framing, warm golden-hour lighting, vintage instruments, handwritten lyric notes, literary references, and subtle hidden details, this artwork blends humor, nostalgia and cinematic mood into a richly layered retro album-cover experience.
Perfect for lovers of classic psychedelic rock, vintage vinyl style, moody late-60s design, surreal cat art, and affectionate music-inspired parody artwork. Part of the Squirrel Music collection created by Miss Terry Woman.

I visited the Watts Gallery earlier this year which was one of our best family days out ever, what a talent Watts was and his wife come to that. The image is perfect for a romantic occasion though I made the mistake of thinking it was a greeting card when in fact it is a postcard - my mistake but easily happens.
Took a little while to print and to be sent from overseas I think. Good quality card and printing.
