Thrasher Splasher Postcard

Caught in the act of flipping some drops of water at his audience, this thrasher bird looks out at you in a startled glance, open beak still gaping, his white water dish just in front of him. Against a blurred green background, this grey-backed bird with a bit of white at his throat is standing on a rock wall in my sister's backyard near Tucson, AZ.
