About This Design
Tidal Basin Cherry Trees Ornament
This round ornament features an image of the cherry trees in bloom around the tidal basin in Washington, D.C. These beautiful trees have their own Festival timed around their blooms each spring in D.C. to commemorate their offering as a gift from Japan in 1912. The back of the ornament includes this information in an easy-to-read font on a pale blue background. Feel free to contact me through Zazzle if you have questions about this ornament or would like help transferring this design to a different shape ornament or different item altogether. I'm happy to help to ensure the image and wording fit correctly.

The prodigy was easy to design amd order, and postage was quick too! I ordered 3 identical ones one for myself, one as a gift and one for safe keeping. I’m glad I did because it’s adorable. Great quality print amd colour a were as they were through the design process.

I purchased this as a gift for a friend and they were delighted with it.
The finish of the ceramic decoration exceeded my expectations and was glossy and gave a nice tinkling chink as they touched each other. A great finish and generously sized ornament.
