“Time and Space” Large Clock

Through the vastness of space that embodies timelessness we as humans measure time by the second, the minute and the hour. This piece combines both space’s timelessness and the temporality of the human condition into a unique talking point that marks the passing of days and years with every movement of the hands around the clock face. Planets suspended for eternity in their trek around unknown suns form the backdrop for the incessant marching of time marking our lives. This timepiece has been created from the digital rendering of my original painting with the same title and as such is a unique artwork in its own right.
