this is the latest addition to my "route 66" collection, taken during my most recent trip to arizona. while twin arrows trading post may no longer be in business, it's still one of the "mother road's" most iconic sights. the clouds in the background turned out to be full of snow and, while i'm certain sunset that evening was probably pretty amazing, there was a wind stiff enough to curb any thoughts of sticking around for another hour and a half just to witness it. (perhaps the timing will work out better the next time i'm in the area.)
