Victorian Christmas Cards & Invitations

If an overnight visit from three visionary ghosts has made you regret buying so many generic Christmas cards down through the years, we’re about to give you the chance to make amends. Right here at Zazzle, you can create truly unique and special cards that are sure to draw a joyous “God Bless us, everyone” from all those who receive them, just by following these few simple steps.

• Step 1: Select a design you like and click on its thumbnail to be taken to the product page. To see all of the artwork available, navigate to our main Christmas cards page. You can also create your own design from scratch by visiting our custom Christmas cards hub and selecting a blank template.
• Step 2: Once you're on the product page, choose a size, style and paper type. These options will vary depending on the type of card selected.
• Step 3: Click on 'Personalise' and then add images and text elements in Zazzle's design tool – this is where you'll add your own personal touch to your product!
• Step 4: Click 'Done' and see your final design! Then hit ‘Add to Cart’ to ready your card for purchase. You can also give us a—to quote another, less festive, work from the great Charles Dickens—“Please sir, can I have some more” by using the ‘Qty.’ dropdown to add more cards to your cart.

If you’re not sure what to write in your card, then lean on our Independent Creators for help. Their templates already include Victorian-style greetings, so you don’t have to channel Tennyson and come up with your own verses. You can keep your message short and simple, if that’s what you’d prefer. However, if you want to add a little more detail, you can share some personal news from the year that’s passed, thank the person for times they might have been there for you, wish them well in the year ahead and sign off with your name or family name. If the year isn’t included on your card already, it’s a good idea to include that, as the person may want to hold on to the card as a keepsake.
