Vintage Butterfly Moth Pattern Print Ping Pong Paddle

Vintage Butterfly Moth Pattern Print Ping Pong Paddle

Step into the world of 19th-century French natural history with this iconic butterfly and moth specimen illustration by celebrated French illustrator Adolphe Philippe Millot. Originally created for the classic Nouveau Larousse Illustré, this detailed pattern features a delicate array of scientific lepidoptera—including a prominent green luna moth, swallowtails, and vintage moths—arranged against a warm antique cream backdrop. Its dark academia aesthetic makes it a captivating accent for cottagecore bedrooms, traditional libraries, botanical study spaces, or cosy living rooms. An extraordinary gift for entomology enthusiasts, nature lovers, vintage scientific illustration collectors, and fans of antique French prints.

Overall, it's a nice product but for what you pay the quality isn't very good. The way it's glued together, as you can see in the pictures, is messy, the glue is visible and shiny, there's some ink staining that looks like black fluff but isn't, it won't come off. On the paddle's black surface there are also little white marks here and there. It's not too easy to show in the pictures because of the flash but I tried to showcase the little white blemishes that ruin a smooth black surface. This was meant to be a gift and it just looks sloppily put together unfortunately. A few imperfections that mar what could have been really great. The printing was neat.
