Vintage French Separator Machine Ad Poster

This image is of a vintage advertisement for the Ecremeuse Delacourt machine which is a separator to get cream from milk and was done by René Vincent. With the Delacourt separator “the work is child’s play”. Vincent was a French illustrator who worked in an Art Deco style and became famous for his poster designs. He created advertisements for Bugatti, Peugeot, Michelin, and Shell Oil Company. He was also known for his fashion illustrations and contributed heavily to fashion publications. Vincent was one of the first French citizens to have a driver's license and was also one of the first Parisians to have a garage built onto his house. Vintage Label Art are paper labels that have been used since the early 1880s. They were introduced to America by European artists, and this printing process became known as lithography. This was one of the first forms of commercial art.
