Coloured Composition (Homage to Johann Sebastian Bach) (1912) by August Macke (1887-1914) is a vintage orphism or orphic cubism fine art painting. Many abstract shapes in random geometric patterns in bright beautiful colours. About the artist: August Macke (1887-1914) was a leading member of the German Expressionism group Der Blaue Reiter, The Blue Rider. He saw the development of the main German Expressionist movements as well as the avant garde movements which were forming in the rest of Europe.
