Vintage Pink Red Barcelona Tile Flower Ribbon Short Table Runner

Decorate your table with this table runner with a traditional Barcelona tile design in pink and red. Tile design from Barcelona, Spain. A traditional pattern from the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. Flowers with pink ribbons. Barcelona is a Spanish city and among many things it known for its colourful cement tiles. These tile form patterns, sometimes geometric, on floors and wall. The tiles are popular because they give such a Mediterranean vintage look and feel in your house. As if you are in Spain. Cement tiles are not baked in an oven but are a version of Portland cement. The first layer applied is the colour pattern and the second, thicker, layer is the grey cement layer. Then they are pressed together. The top pattern layer is fused with the bottom cement layer. This type of tile is very durable.
