What Patriotic 40s collection would be complete without Rosie the Riveter? Here is a 10.75" x 10.75" acrylic wall clock with an image of Rosie, a cultural icon of the United States, representing the American women who worked in factories during World War II, many of whom worked in the manufacturing plants that produced munitions and war supplies. These women sometimes took entirely new jobs replacing the male workers who were in the military. Rosie the Riveter is commonly used as symbol of feminism and women's economic power. This work is in the public domain in that it was published in the United States between 1923 and 1977 and without a copyright notice.
