I hiked from Franconia Notch up Liberty Spring Trail in the White Mountains and then across Franconia Ridge to the Falling Waters Trail. Along the ridge, I captured this image at a break in the trees. It was absolutely breathtaking to be above some clouds and to see such a distance. I thought the best way to honour it was to take a black/white image. It was 27*F that day and a toasty beverage would have come in handy. Enjoy your own toasty beverage in this mug!
