"Why Easter?" Holiday Card

An inclusionary, secular Easter card that explains why Easter may be worth celebrating whether you're religious or not. My family was never religious, but I always loved receiving Easter baskets from my mum. I designed the card that I wish I had gotten in my basket as a kid. The text reads as follows: Why Easter? People have always celebrated the end of winter and start of spring. Eggs and bunnies are ancient symbols of what make this season special: new life and a fresh start. Folklore, religion, and popular traditions have mixed and changed over time, but friends and family still gather in the spring for the same reason they always have: to celebrate stories of rebirth. It’s a brand new day! What story will you add to it?
