William Morris: Snakeshead Kitchen Towel
The elaborate "Snakeshead" pattern was created by the English designer William Morris (1834-1896) in 1877, and showcases one of his favourite wildflowers, the fritillary. This rendition, printed on plain weave cotton, is now in the collection of the Cleveland Art Institute (https://www.clevelandart.org/art/1937.695).
Superluminal's Portable Imagery specialises in home furnishings and paper goods featuring designs by William Morris; classic paisleys, batiks, Indian, Japanese, and Chinese textiles; carpet patterns from Turkey, Persia, the Caucasus, India, and Central Asia; Moorish and Turkish ceramic designs; flora and fauna from antiquarian books; alchemical images and Persian miniatures.

I was delighted with the beautiful tea towels, the design looked really lovely. I adore garden ponds and these towels and other products I ordered with the same design will bring me so much pleasure. My garden is too small for a real pond. If you love ponds and wildlife this design is for you!

They absorb so well and wash up really nicely not losing their colour at all. They are expensive but in my opinion they are well worth the money. Yes they turned out perfectly to match my new kitchen
