Willkie-McNary - Button

Willkie-McNary - Button

Wendell Lewis Willkie, February 18, 1892 – October 8, 1944) was a corporate lawyer and dark horse who became 1940 Republican presidential nominee. A member of the liberal wing of the GOP !, he crusaded against domestic New Deal policies that he thought were inefficient and anti-business. An internationalist, he needed votes of the large isolationist element, so he waffled on America's role in World War II, losing support from both sides and his opponent Franklin D. Roosevelt won. Afterward, Roosevelt found Willkie politically compatible and made him an informal ambassador-at-large. Willkie criss-crossed the globe on a former army bomber, bringing a vision of "One World" freed from imperialism and colonialism to then-Allied heads of state, ordinary citizens and soldiers in regions such as Russia and Iran. His liberalism lost him GOP support and he dropped out in 1944, then died of a heart attack. He never held political office. Charles Linza McNary (June 12, 1874 – February 25, 1944) was Republican US Senator from Oregon 1917-44, and Senate Minority Leader from 1933-44. He helped pass legislation to construct Bonneville Dam on the Columbia River, worked on agricultural and forestry issues, and supported many New Deal programs in the First Great Republican Depression. Until Mark O. Hatfield surpassed his mark in 1993, he was Oregon’s longest serving senator. Oregon Supreme Court justice from 1913 to 1915, he died in office after unsuccessful brain tumour surgery. McNary Dam, McNary Field, and McNary High School in Oregon are named in his honour. Repo pub domain.

Really great template to create the badge - easy to use, clear and plenty of options. I chose to add my own artwork, and this was pretty easy to do and make adjustments, too. Good value I think too. Especially if ordering a large number. I initially have had one made, to see the quality of the product and speed of service. I will soon be ordering over 100, as the quality was excellent - colours, sharpness, positioning of artwork - all spot-on. And my order arrived pretty quickly as well! I initially had one badge made, to see the quality of the product and speed of service. I will soon be ordering over 100, as the quality was excellent - colours, sharpness, positioning of artwork - all spot-on.

Really nice quality badge. It’s great to wear in public so I don’t need to explain my tics. The badge is a great size and made very well. The pin works well. Nice printing and clear to read.
