Wm De Morgan Green Eagle Repro Ceramic Tile

De Morgan (1839-1917) was an important Arts & Crafts movement artist and was the head of tile production at William Morris's studio. His work was influenced by Persian and Islamic art and featured stylised flora and fauna from both life and fantasy. This is tile depicts an eagle and coordinates with our other tiles from this series. Ceramic tiles are highly collectable and make great wall tiles and backsplashes for kitchen, bath, shower and laundry, and for fireplace surrounds, trivets, coasters, decorative accessories, and, of course, gifts.

Really nice image fixed to the tiles in my shower as a background to a soap dish. This was to hide the marks left by a broken soap dish. Just used tile adhesive and white grout. I think it looks good, almost like the drips are falling from the soap dish. No probs. Nice image.
