This product is in support of Artisan Hill farm & Studio, a happy ending for rescued farm animals and an artist. Originally a watercolor painting on paper by Catskills, NY creative Lauren Berley, the Tessa Tee is a tribute to our very first "kill pen" rescue, Tessa, and her magical healing soul. Kill pens are precisely what they sound like... holding pens for discarded horses that will be loaded onto trucks and shipped to Mexico for slaughter, their meat sold by the pound to countries that haven't outlawed horsemeat as a delicacy. 100% of the proceeds from this store will be used for the feeding and care of my rescued farm animals.
