Yokai Dorotabo (Mud Zombie) Stone Coaster

This stone coaster features a cartoon drawing of the Dorotabo, with its name, in Japanese kanji, appearing in the top left. The Dorotabo (泥田坊, "He of the Muddy Rice Fields"), is a mud zombie from Japanese mythology. Said to be the restless spirit of a hard-working farmer whose rice fields were carelessly sold after his death by his irresponsible children, this one-eyed zombie torso youkai appears at night to demand the return of his ruined farmland.
