The hitotsume-kozo (一つ目小僧), whose name literally means "one-eyed kid," is a mischief-maker with one eye and a long tongue. They appear as young boys dressed as monks, and their main goal is simply to use their bizarre features to scare people. This drink coaster features a chibi cartoon drawing of a hitotsume-kozo. The monster's name appears in Japanese kanji in the top left.
