B22 Ring-necked Pheasant Square Paper Coaster
These beautiful upland birds are not native to Canada, I believe they were imported from China many decades ago. They are fairly common where I live in south east Alberta, Canada. Many were raised in hatcheries then released by fish and wildlife as well as many farmers, ranchers and hunting groups. They are a very popular game birds and are very good eating. This photograph was taken by Flatlandersam in the late winter.
