The Beautiful Black Swallowtail Butterfly. This one is a female with her blue spots. Males have yellow. Their host plant is parsley. One of the most beautiful of butterflies, the State Butterfly of Oklahoma. She was just reborn from her cocoon about 10 minutes prior to my photograph of her in my hand.
