Here are some of the key things that make the Cheshire Cat so fascinating: Its enigmatic nature: The Cat is full of riddles and cryptic pronouncements, often leaving Alice (and the reader) confused and disoriented. Its motives are unclear, and its intentions are often shrouded in mystery. Its symbolic meaning: The Cheshire Cat has been interpreted in many different ways, from a representation of chaos and absurdity to a guide through the madness of Wonderland. Some even see it as a symbol of the subconscious mind, always present but elusive. Its iconic grin: The Cheshire Cat's grin is perhaps its most recognisable feature. It is often described as wide and mischievous, and it can appear even when the rest of the Cat has vanished. The grin has become a pop culture icon, and it is often used to represent mystery, trickery, and madness. The Cheshire Cat has appeared in numerous adaptations of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, including Disney's animated film and Tim Burton's live-action remake. Each interpretation adds its own unique twist to the character, but the essence of the Cheshire Cat - its enigmatic nature, its symbolic meaning, and its iconic grin - remains. Here are some additional facts about the Cheshire Cat: The name "Cheshire Cat" is believed to come from the Cheshire region of England, which was known for its grinning cats. The Cat's grin is often described as "Cheshire grins" in popular culture. The Cat has been played by many different actors, including Dennis Hopper in Tim Burton's film and Jenny Lewis in the 2010 miniseries Alice.

I was very surprised by the quality of these coasters they are beautifully crafted, and the sunflower watercolour image is so sharp it really pops out at you, I really love these and will order some more as a gift. The colours are so vibrant and the glossy tops make the image really stand out, they are stunning, a lovely way to brighten up dark wood or any surface. 6 coasters is also the perfect amount.
