Johnny Smash Album: a Parody Square Paper Coaster

Inspired by the stark honesty and enduring presence of classic country and folk music, this design reimagines a vintage album cover with a grounded, minimalist strength. Featuring Johnny Smash, a composed and commanding performer brought to life as a human-like stag, the artwork captures the restraint, integrity, and quiet intensity associated with iconic mid-century country music. Dressed in black and holding a guitar with natural ease, the figure stands with calm authority, echoing the unmistakable presence of a performer who lets the music speak for itself. Rendered in a painted-from-photograph style, the design includes subtle film grain, soft tonal transitions, and gentle print aging. The restrained palette and uncluttered composition reflect the simplicity and emotional weight of classic recordings. Part of the Squirrel Music Classics collection, celebrating timeless music through imaginative character reinterpretations. Perfect for fans of country, folk, and vintage-inspired artwork with depth and authenticity.
