Serve your tea on these beautiful glass coasters covered in this red and green Islamic geometric fourfold bow tie tessellation pattern. This is a simple fourfold Islamic geometric pattern. In this tessellation there are no star like patterns, but the tessellation is formed by what look likes a bow tie. An example where you can find this design is in the pierced marble screens of the Itimad ud-Daula complex in Agra, India (1622 - 1628). The colours are red, green and pale yellow. It is from an example I found on the internet and I quite liked. Original and traditional Islamic geometric design.
