Klaus P. Kinast is an artist, author, sculptor, and illustrator, and his life partner Ines Hanl has a background in costume design and interior architecture. A few of the collections in this store are based on the illustrations Klaus made for his fantasy novel WHENCE CAME THE STONE-EYED GODS. FORTUNA is actually a painting Klaus created for Ines's interior design studio location. The dark-themed chalk illustrations stem from a difficult period in Klaus's life, and depict social, political, and ethical critique.
