About
I am a fiber artist, specializing in weaving large rugs and wall hangings. My creative process begins with the yarn, which speaks to me. I listen attentively as I draw inspiration from symmetrical and geometric shapes, using either bold colors or contrasting dark and light yarns to express my vision.
First and foremost, I am a weaver, and I communicate through yarn and color. While speaking this language of fiber can be a challenging endeavor, the materials inspire me as well. My current series of twelve woven panels is titled “A Weaver's Journal of Endangered Wildflowers.”
