About

Like many photographers, I became fascinated with the art of photography at a relatively young age, starting with simple point-and-shoot film cameras, gradually working my way up to more sophisticated equipment. Inspired by the work of John Fielder, David Muench, and of course, Ansel Adams, I strive to capture images that celebrate nature's vivid colors and diverse forms. Growing up in Colorado served as a key source of encouragement for my photographic endeavors, since the spectacular scenes that I sought to capture were often just a few minutes away from home. In 1999 I moved east, to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where I started becoming more interested in photographing human landscapes, including architecture and various other aspects of urban life. I subsequently moved to Concord, New Hampshire which allows me to enjoy three distinct photographic environments: mountains to the north, Boston to the south, and to the east, the Atlantic Ocean. I recently relocated again to the Crystal City district of Arlington, Virginia, about 5 minutes south of Washington, D.C.
