California Wildlife Center (CWC) was founded in 1998 by a group of dedicated volunteers working out of their homes. Today, CWC is the premier wildlife medical treatment and rehabilitation facility in the Los Angeles area. With a state-of-the-art surgery suite, a cadre of professionally-trained staff, and dedicated volunteers, California Wildlife Center strives to ensure that each patient receives optimal care, allowing them to return to their wild state. Located in the Santa Monica Mountains, CWC is the only facility in Los Angeles County permitted to rehabilitate mule deer fawns, coyote pups, crows and ravens, and hatchling and fledgling songbirds. We are also the only wildlife center in California that cares for both land and marine animals. By purchasing our store you will help supply medical care and treatment to more than 4,300 imperiled native animals every year.
