Do you want an atmosphere of joy and peace in your home? Erin Stagg is a Metis Aboriginal Artist from Canada who creates colourful and whimsical paintings with the goal of bringing light and fun into your house. Erin grew up running through the forests of Northern BC at a young age. She encountered moose, bears, deer and foxes, sometimes on a daily basis. She fell in love with the magical woods and as she grew up she started painting, always trying to recreate the magic she found. As an adult, Erin found herself in a proper adult desk job but she found herself missing all of the magic that she had grown up with. She hadn't painted in years and only looked on the forest from the window of the car on the way to work. After Erin was laid off for the winter, she decided to return to her easel and the forest. She wanted the magic back. Erin began painting again, she wanted to create fun, magical paintings that would remind her past self that there is so much light, colour, love and fun in the world. She always strives to remind herself to go outside and soak in the wonder of our world. If Erin's art makes you smile or laugh but it definitely makes you relax and feel at peace, she feels that she has done her job.
