I’m Barbara – and this all started with a senior rescue dog named Barkley. I’d never had a dog before (just little birds and beautiful cats), but when my daughter rescued Barkley—a gentle, grey-muzzled old soul—I fell head over paws in love. Suddenly I was that person: buying cute clothes, squeaky toys, accessories… you name it. But I kept hitting a wall when I tried to find personalized stuff. I wanted things with Barkley’s name on them. His face! His senior sass! That’s when I discovered the magical world of custom pet products—and started designing my own. With my kids out of the house and a little more time (and way too many photos of Barkley), I launched FancyPawStore: a happy place where fellow dog lovers can find one-of-a-kind items for their pets and themselves. Because every dog is special—and deserves to be treated like it.
