On the Froggyville Pond

A little history behind the Froggyville pond. This pond was dug maybe 20 or 30 years ago back when my wife's folks was running the farm. Back then the farm had cows, dogs, cats, ducks and at one point even a couple of peacocks. My mother-in-law had maybe 20 ducks give or take a few. She felt they needed a pond so they had one dug. She would then release the ducks from the pen and they were on their journey to the pond. You could actually walk along with them. Then time pasted and my wife's folks passed away. We now are working to one day make this a working farm. For now I enjoy coming to the farm and taking pictures of all the critters, sunsets and more around the farm. The pond is a great place to capture that really cool bull frog pose sitting on a log with the sun peaking through the trees and hitting him just right. The dragonflies are a big part of my photos.
