I am a Teller of Stories; I especially like to express my imagination through words and imagery. In addition to being a published Writer and Photographer, I am extremely fascinated with Digital Art & Photomanipulation and Gardening. A lot of my altered Visual Art pieces come from the plants and flowers that I grow here, in & out of my home; I am enamored with and drawn to the natural geometry, color, shapes and patterns.  One of my favorite all-time things to do is go down to the river, here where I live, and take pictures of the elemental surroundings; if I can get some fishing or swimming in, I'm over the moon! I like to walk the trails and observe things that people may not have ever seen and take tons of pictures of the habitat with different angles and perspectives. When I upload the pictures, I open them up in IfranView to size them, then copy them to GIMP where the real work begins. I am often surprised at the things that the camera has captured that I did not see with my naked eye. Ever since I was young, I have felt the pull to create and spin stories and create through my Art about how beautiful the world and people can be and maybe to bring light, sometimes dark, out of its hiding place for it to be discovered and examined.
