About

Share humanism, science and reason, with the world! Who are the Humanists of the Palouse? The Humanists of the Palouse are a group of non-religious people: secular, humanist, agnostic and atheist, and more. Our mission is to advance our local community through rational thought and expanding knowledge. We aim to provide a safe space for non-religious people to come together to support each other, find common interests, friendship, and work together to make the world a better place for everyone. What is Darwin on the Palouse? Darwin on the Palouse, a local Darwin Day celebration, is a free annual event to celebrate humanity, science and rational thought, is sponsored, in part, by the American Humanist Association, the Humanists of the Palouse, Secular Student Alliance at the University of Idaho, and by generous donations from the community. It is held on or around the birthday of Charles Darwin, in Moscow, Idaho.
