About

After working in the corporate world for over twenty years, I am enjoying the entrepreneurial stage of my career. I am developing ventures that address lifestyle: education, home furnishings, gourmet sweets and treats, fashion and health. I have established a consulting practice that focuses on business planning, business development and market research. In 2007, I earned my Master of Business Administration (3.9/4.0) in Accounting and Finance that brings a smile to my face whenever I look at my degree. Utilizing Benedictine University’s fully webflex program, I found the experience to be both challenging and completely enjoyable. I received my undergraduate degree in Dance and was taught by some of the most recognized choreographers and dancers in the world. I plan to pursue my Doctorate in Finance. A native New Yorker, one of the fashion capitals of the world, fashion has left a permanent imprint. As a girl, I modeled as a petite on the runway for Town and Country. I have had great fun modeling in and coordinating fashion shows for political and civic causes as an adult. I spent part of my childhood living in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands where I discovered the joy of living on the side of a mountain with a view of beautiful aquamarine-colored water. Wonderful boutiques sold lovely treasures from all over the world (jewelry, leather, perfume, linens, accessories, crystal, china and clothing). Living in the islands, color becomes a strong aspect of everyday life. To this day, I love the feeling of a breeze on my face. I enjoy traveling and have been to boutiques, wonderful restaurants and museums in France and Italy (to name two of the places to which I have traveled). I grew up in a four generational family and continue to enjoy the fruit of an extended family.
