About

The London Bridge, now a striking landmark in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, carries with it a rich tapestry of history far from its original home. Originally constructed in the 1830s over the River Thames in London, England, this iconic bridge was dismantled in 1967 and purchased by Robert P. McCulloch, the founder of Lake Havasu City. Each stone was meticulously labeled and shipped to the United States, where the bridge was reconstructed and dedicated in 1971.
